School’s highlights

Sankara Global Academy develops future citizen of our country by developing hidden talents in the students. They are encouraged for learning to learn rather than learning what is taught. With this idea, Sankara group schools started their Global schools in Tambaram and in the year 2014, a branch school was opened up in Urapakkam.

The developments of future leaders are seen here in all aspects. They are learning with difference along with other co-curricular activities like karathe, yoga, dance, music, keyboard and Robotics.

Prinicpal’s Message

The kids have sometimes made me feel proud when they project their skills developed here. We do no compromise on Indian culture as rich Indian heritage is inculcated in their tender age. We therefore provide platform of holistic learning to the young generation of learners.

We have talented teachers who work hard for developing overall skills in students. Spontaneous appreciation for each and achievements made by the students can be seen here. The one who is willing to learn is a good teacher. The teachers here have regular orientation programs through which the teachers learn adopting the new methods of approach to make kids learn with difference.

This is a right place for the children to learn with enjoyment and interest.

Academics

We, in Sankara Global Academy believe in the integrated (all round) development of the children. We provide Western Education with Indian culture. Our school is affiliated to Cambridge Curriculum and it follows IGCSE syllabus.

We accomplish the overall development by making the children think critically and by following activity based learning and learning through interactions.

We emphasize in self-discipline. Our programs like interface and culture classes help the child to reflect and this brings self discipline.

To bring out good academic skills, more concentration is given on LSRW and concept based learning.

To have a fun- filled education, children are taken to field trip and participate in science exhibition, extra-curricular activities, sports and annual day programs which involve 100% participation of all children.

Children are also given an opportunity to learn French as a part of curriculum.

Children learn robotics starting from basic electronics and enjoy learning this at a higher level.
